Kind words

It never ceases to amaze me how a few kind words of encouragement can make such a difference. I think that is what keeps me blogging, as opposed to only journaling. The feedback, and sometimes just the possibility of feedback. I have always been an internet lurker (message forums, blogs) and I have gotten wonderful information, but I rarely if ever have joined in. As strange as it may seem, my innate shyness carries over even into what is basically anonymity.

Last night, I was having a sort of mini crisis, and I posted a little about it, and not only did I feel better, but this morning I had some kind words to start my day. Sweet!

Right now I am smack dab in the middle of a sea of adoption information, threatening to be overwhelmed yet again, but those kind words are sustaining me through that wave.:)
Thank you to the people who offered them. It counts more than you know.

wGood morning again! The feedback is what keeps me going also. I've really been blessed by encouraging words on my blog.

And just to give you some more encouragement - yesterday I was telling someone it has been slow but steady in the donations department & bam we got a $400 donation. Our online giving doubled in an instant!

Seek His will & He will provide. I read this on another blog a few weeks ago & recalled it so I thought I would share:
If you don't take your boat and release yourself from the dock, invariably God will send a storm to knock you off the moorings. God's desire is that we get out into the open water, because it is there that the real relationship happens. A real relationship with God doesn't happen in the harbor, safely tied to the dock. The boat wasn't made to stay tied to the dock; it was meant to sail in the open water.

Take the leap - God (and your child) is waiting!

I totally agree. There is just something about those words. Not to mention words of encouragement are my number one love language. I am so grateful for the comments of my readers. They mean more than I am sure the commenters realize.

Blessings!
